Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) Job Posting - CrossFit Newmarket & Aurora Central
Since 2010, CrossFit Newmarket & Aurora Central (CFNAC) has been the premier fitness and health organization in York Region. We are excited to expand our growing team of healthcare practitioners.
We are much more than just a CrossFit gym, and our philosophy is movement is medicine. Our massage therapy program is part of our bigger mission to make healthy movement and lifestyle practices available for all. As part of the CFNAC team, and in collaboration with our experienced coaching and therapy staff, our massage therapists provide not only pain and injury care, but also prehab and performance support to our membership. We are the bridge between rehab and fitness. Our experienced and connected team also has a busy referral base from inside the CFNAC membership.

You Have:
- 1+ years in practice (Preferred)
- Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario
- Valid liability/malpractice insurance
- Knowledge treating sports injuries and a variety of other family practice based patients
- Able to perform deep tissue massage
- Able to complete and maintain accurate records through Jane App
- Able to uphold moral ethics to help promote a positive view on the industry.
- The ability to establish and maintain excellent client relationships to ensure higher number of repeat clientele.
- Knowledge of guiding clients in proper care and help individuals take steps to improve their health and wellness
- Demonstrated experience (or desire!) to be part of a positive team culture through leadership, collaboration, and delegation with and to your team
- Demonstrated ability and experience working towards an expanded *modern health care professional role*
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial and growth centred mindset

You Have:
- Masters of Physical Therapy or equivalent from a recognized university
- Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Postgraduate training in orthopaedics, sports medicine, and movement training (strength and conditioning certification, CrossFit Level 1, and/or personal experience in this field is a real asset)
- Niche therapy skillset (or working towards expertise in): ie acupuncture/dry needling, manual therapy, taping, movement training proficiency, etc
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective virtual patient care
- Demonstrated experience (or desire!) to be part of a positive team culture through leadership, collaboration, and delegation with and to your team
- Demonstrated ability and experience working towards an expanded *modern health care professional role*
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial and growth centred mindset
We have for you:
- Mentorship with our lead Physiotherapist (experienced FCAMPT, women’s pelvic health physio, certified in dry needling, yoga teacher, TRX, Crossfit Level 1)
- Competitive compensation (in a fee for service model) with scheduling autonomy using Jane software
- Private patient caseload - no MVA or WSIB
- 60 minutes assessment times, 30-45 minute treatment times
- Opportunity to provide patient care workshops
- Collaborative treatment partnerships with coaching and massage therapy staff
- Patient caseload of all ages - from prehab to rehab to performance, including acute fracture and surgical referrals, pregnancy/postpartum care
- Opportunity to work at the Newmarket and/or Aurora location
